Follow this step-by-step guide to prepare you for an On-Demand Spark Encounter.  

GET EQUIPPED

STEP 1: Navigate to the On-Demand page and choose a Spark Encounter. Each Spark Encounter profile features the following:

• Brief description of career professional speakers.
• Spark Encounter video.
• Custom grade level resources to enhance your Spark Encounter.
  • Lesson Plan
  • Career Briefs
  • Drawing & Writing Prompt Worksheets
  • Career Score Cards

STEP 2: To learn more about the careers you are about to explore, download grade level Career Briefs, which include descriptions of the careers, education requirements, skills and training needed to succeed.

STEP 3: When you are ready, play the Spark Encounter Video and enjoy!

STEP 4:  After the Live Spark Encounter, write about your experience with a fun Drawing & Writing Prompt Worksheet, spurring thoughts, responses and ideas. Show us your Sparkler Pride by sharing your work with the Sparkler Community.

STEP 6: Rate your interest in the careers you just learned about by filling out the Career Score Card. This will help you narrow down your interests & passions during your career exploration.
